Although not a story for infants and young children, I wanted to share this beautifully written and illustrated Holiday story of hope. Many families and churches have read this story the night before Christmas. In Winter's Gift A lonely old gentleman wants to forget about Christmas, as for him it is a time of loss. But during a severe snowstorm a surprise visitor brings with her an opportunity for that most elusive gift of all, hope.
