About Us

SunStruck opened in June 2022 and is proudly owned by native Rhode Islander, Kristin Struck Tenner. Kristin's roots in Narragansett run deep - her first job was at McDonald's in Wakefield, summers were spent at Bonnet Shores and Sand Hill Cove and she graduated from URI.

Kristin's vision is for SunStruck to be a bright, cheerful and friendly local spot where you can find personalized and unique gifts for any occasion, including splurging on yourself!. As much as possible, we buy New England made gifts (preferably Rhode Island) and we prefer to buy from women owned businesses.

Our inventory is constantly being updated both in person and online. We have about 85% of our store online, but we do always keep a few treasures available in store only.

The Name SunStruck

Kristin's grandparents, Helen and Robert Struck, called their Plum Beach, Rhode Island home "SunStruck". It’s a name that has long been associated with her family and we are so proud it’s the name of the boutique and one that is becoming more well known in Narragansett! ❤️
